The Light
I use to be uninspired. I did encourage others to shine their Light.
I walked through the Darkness, and I became the Light.
I became the Light that shines in the night.
I became the Light that shines in the light.
I became the Light that shines on all that I encounter.
I became the Light that encourages others to shine their light.
Through service I will find my reward and I will live this life of Light until my flame Flickers and can no longer be seen in the Night.

Mission
“Feeding The Hungry”
Our mission is to combat food insecurity in our community by partnering with frontline organizations. We raise awareness and funds to support those directly serving people in need, working together to build a stronger, more resilient community.
Oklahoma ranks as the fifth hungriest state in America. While the pandemic initially worsened food insecurity, the current recession continues to hit hardest on families already struggling with hunger or living paycheck to paycheck. Food insecurity affects people from all backgrounds, but children, seniors, and Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color face disproportionately higher rates of hunger. Most often, it's our neighbors living in poverty who need our help the most.
Let’s look at some facts that you may not know about regarding the crisis of food insecurity in Oklahoma and in Tulsa County.

While there are several very effective organizations working intensely to address the food insecurity issues in our area, the demand continues to outpace the capacity for these organizations to touch everyone that needs help. It is the objective of The Community Light Foundation to add to these efforts to feed the hungry.
With your help and support, we can make a difference. If there is one hungry person, that is one too many.
